Notes

Notes are private for each User you've set up in your JwC install, with one available for each defined Entity (any entry other than a Directive or Talk).

In many cases JwcUD supplements the simplier Notation editors of the older JwC versions with a more advanced Document Editor.

Notes are not overwritten when you import externally-supplied data.

You can send yourself a backup of your Notes as part of "MyText".

On importing the backup the only notes restored will be for still-existing entities with no current notes.

Please limit notes to what is truly helpful and which, should others become aware of their contents, would not put you in a difficult situation.

They are simply intended as a private memory aid.

Before first use a Note Entry may seem to be a short single line.

Both the width and height expand as you type into the entry. Even the width of the Note Tab expands as required.

If there are sufficient lines you may need to scroll the Note Entry area to see them all, but they will all be there after Saving.

There is a Information | Notes page that summarizes all notes throughout JwC and also allows maintenance of Notes found nowhere else in JwC.
