Backing Up Data

Any install or device may fail and likely will at some point.

If you have a means of securely, privately backing up your device, please consider using it!

Otherwise you may have to email yourself any data only you possess, but that will not be a secure operation unless you've set up your email to encrypt all transmissions (very uncommon). Private textual data ("MyText") includes all Notes, Service Calls, and Other Phones; all images are also regarded as private.

For such purposes email just yourself, using the Send Menu discussed in Sharing Data.

Note: You can switch default email recipients on the Settings | Comm | Email Recipients.

Secure Online Storage is another alternative.
