JwContactsUD (JwC) has been written with you, the busy Elder, in mind.

Welcome to many tools that should help you in:

Unless you are of a technical mind, this Help Document may seem overwhelming.

Fear not! The application is as simple to use as a common screwdriver.

The learning curve should be short, once you have the needed data.

Ah, data!

If you have ever worked with other applications where somebody had to supply a bunch of data, you probably were happy if that person did not have to be you.

And, in most cases, it doesn't need to be here.

As the name implies, JwC begins as a Contact Manager, but unlike any other you may have used.

Where do all those contacts you'll need come from?

Happily, to get you started, JwC can import common data from at least these four Congregational Scheduling programs; your Congregation may already be using one:

CLM Explorer by TMSWare

JW Scheduler*

Kingdom Hall Schedules from Majestic Software

TSWIN* from TsWinTm

*JwC can also export some of its data to these programs, if you need to set up either.

If none of these are already in use, JwC does provide an initial setup workbook for Microsoft Excel or similar.

And, if someone in your Body is comfortable with Spreadsheets, they can always edit JwC's data in its own Spreadsheet editor.

All of this clearly explained in this manual's Setup area.
