Using JwC Email

JwC includes a full-fledged email client that can both send and receive email.

It is not possible for JwC to know about every possible Email server (the distant computer with which you actually exchange your email).

Nearly all adhere to one of a few sets of guidelines, but there is no guarantee JwC can download email from untested servers.

JwC has been tested to work with Outlook.com (also known as Hotmail.com), AOL (using special password usder acquires) and GMail; the last maintaining an extensively well-documented set of guidelines.

If these change in any significant way JwC will be updated.

If you can use Hotmail.com, Outlook.com, or GMail as your Email server, that is HIGHLY recommended.

As of this writing Outlook365.com has not yet been tested.

Otherwise, ask JwC to send yourself a test email. If it can be re-imported, fine!

Otherwise please report the server's name and describe how you log-in to it.

Perhaps the next JwC release can support it as well.
