User Responsibilities

Please weigh all these matters before any use.

• 1. I am currently an Elder in a recognized Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

• 2. I will not share my JwC password with anyone else nor allow anyone besides other Elders in that Congregation access to its displays, or medical and emergency personnel access to pertinent displays.

• 3. I will respect all applicable privacy and encryption laws wherever I use JwC.

• 4. If I travel abroad with a device having JwC, I will remove JwC and/or its data if such travel would place my installation in conflict with any laws of any state I travel through or to.

  (Note: JwC's use of Encryption is prohibited by American law in some foreign lands.)

• 5. My personal JwC Notes will be restricted to those likely to helpful during emergencies and while shepherding..

• 6. If I no longer qualify as a JwC user (or transfer to a different Congregation without re-appointment), I will remove the application and destroy all its data.

• 7. I will exercise reasonable care that all my JwC use will be done wisely, conscientiously, and in harmony with Biblical counsel and my Bible-trained conscience.

• 8. I will not require the author of JwC to bear any responsibility for any consequences of my installation or its use.

• 9. I accept that JwC is not supported by or connected to any official organization of Jehovah's Witnesses in any land.

• 10. If ever directed by an official organization of Jehovah';s Witnesses to discontinue use of JwC or similar applications, I will immediately comply.

• 11. I will never accept payment in any form for data generated in JwC nor disclose any such data to anyone not allowed under JwC's Terms of Use.
