From time-to-time the Official Organization of Jehovah's Witnesses provides guidance for Bible-based, informed, wise decisions regarding the Internet and computer programs, including Mobile. Please FIRST review that material. Afterwards you may wish to read the area below, "Facts for Consideration".
Brief Description
JwContacts (JwC), though not an official application of any Witness organization, is an aid in keeping vital information always close. Whether it runs on an Android or Apple smartphone or a Windows computer, you have key data for quickly rendering assistance, especially during emergencies. Here you will find the User Guide and training videos.
JwC is actively developed by a fellow Elder, who bears all costs. No donations are accepted. The app has no ads, few links to other apps (Email, GMaps, Phone), and is entirely devoted to helping the brotherhood while respecting that spiritual instruction is the province of the Official Organization.
Languages currently supported: 27, derived by machine translations of the English. Proficient Elders who have the time available and would like to aid with translation (including verifying the existing versions) may please contact us. Most Microsoft Store markets worldwide have a Windows JwContactsUD version for download.

Facts for Consideration
Is this an OFFICIAL, AUTHORIZED application? No.
Who is providing it? David Pressman LLC, a Limited Liability Company recognized by the State of South Carolina, United States and granted an EIN by the US IRS. Sole "employee": David Pressman, an Elder.
Does it include ANY doctrinal material? No. However, this web site and an included Guide do refer to appropriate Bible principles regarding proper use.
Does it include ANY advertizing or links to Advertizing? No.
Does it collect ANY personal information about me? Only your email address is required and only for the sole purpose of addressing emails you knowingly work with.
The address is never sent us. Also required is a Congregation number so any data-sharing can be limited to its Body.
Does it involve ANY Social Media? No.
Is its data secure? Mobile (and some Desktop) systems are known to strictly limit access. Although there is no perfect means of securing data, all data is password-protected and optionally can be encrypted. A backup copy is always maintained within the app in encrypted form. As some laws limit encryption rights, you must specify the country of use.
Does it connect to ANY other applications or web sites? Aside from potentially using your device's own phone, email, mapping, GPS, and messaging apps, the only other connections are for anonymous crash and limited usage reports, solely to aid in continued app development. You may optionally decide to store data on SECURE cloud services and some help is provided.
Is it free of viruses? To the author's knowledge, yes. But ALWAYS use virus-protection!
Is all its code directly written by its author? No. Well-known commercial and non-commercial products had to be employed. Every effort has been made to assure those meet the same standards as the code the author did write: Free of advertizing, hidden links, viruses, etc.
What about privacy laws? These change at times and the app will be updated as such become known to its author. HOWEVER, users MUST stay informed of all applicable laws and limit their usage accordingly. The Official Organization may also provide general guidance in such matters. Please stay current in this sensitive matter!
Windows 10 releases are available in the Microsoft Store (JwContactsUD in Apps | Productivity); Android, in Google Play Store (Beta, Search "jwcontacts"). Apple (iOS) release available to Beta Testers using TestFlight; contact us to be included.
